Tuks were made to fight in their Varsity Cup semifinal against NWU-Pukke, but the home side were too good in the end as they triumphed by 53 points to 24 to set up a home final against the Maties.
Tuks trailed by 13-16 but put in a brilliant second half to outplay the visitors by 7 tries to 3 in the end.
Earlier yesterday, Maties booked their spot in the final with an impressive 23-nil win over UJ in Stellenbosch.
Maties will travel to the Tuk Rugby Stadium in Pretoria on the 9th of April.
