The Eastern Province Golf Union has named three new caps in their senior team which will be looking to win the B-division on home soil at the national interprovincial championships in three months time.
Port Elizabeth golf club hosts the annual interprov from the 17th to the 21st of September.
The new caps are Ryno Ferreira of Uitenhage Golf Club and Andile Adam and Fesikele Kana who both play out of Humewood.
Naldo Claasssen will captain the team for the first time.
The other team members are Sieg Human, Ray Taverner, Andre van Staden and Mzuyanda Zingela.
Zingela turns 48 this year and this will be his 21st interprovincial championship.
The team was announced following last night's league prize giving where PE Golf Club A won the premier league for the 10th time in 11 years after a narrow 10-8 win over Uitenhage in the final round.
Humewood finished in second place with Uitenhage in third.
