Switzerland's Daniela Ryf wins Ironman 70.3 World Championship in PE

The Isuzu Ironman 70.3 World Championships kicked-off in Nelson Mandela Bay on Saturday morning with the ladies race, which started at King's Beach.

It was won by Switzerland's Daniela Ryf in a time of 4 hours 1 minute and 12 secs.

Lucy Charles from England was second (4 : 04 : 58), followed by Anne Haugh (4 : 07 : 21) from Germany in third place.

The men's race starts at 07:30 on Sunday morning.
