Supersport Park in Centurion has unveiled a state-of-the-art International Cricket academy dedicated to nurturing talent on a global scale.
The academy will run from September to November this year offering world-class training facilities, cutting-edge technology and expert coaches.
The Academy will also include various short courses in Sports Management and even umpiring certifications.
Enrollment in this academy will open in January 2024 and players from anywhere in the world, including South Africa will be considered.
Coaches involved in the academy include Gary Kirsten, Albie Morkel and Allan Donald as coaches alongside the Titans' head coach (CSA coach of the year for the last two seasons), Mandla Mashimbyi and Assistant Coach Richard Das Neves, among others.
The high-performance environment will see players enrolled in the academy participate in matches against the Titans as this will allow players to gain invaluable exposure and opportunities to showcase their talent.
Matches will also be played in Western Province, Boland and KwaZulu Natal.
A squad of 15 players will be selected in the first year of the academy with the cost per player at $16 500.
Future/potential professional cricketers are encouraged to apply for the academy.
