Springboks lead Southern Hemisphere clean sweep

Southern Hemisphere Rugby prevailed over the North with a full-house of test wins at the weekend.

New Zealand started the rout with a 42-10 demolition of Ireland in Auckland.
Australia then beat Wales 27-19 in Brisbane before the Springboks outplayed England 22-17 in Durban in Heineke Meyer's first game in charge.
Argentina made it four from four when they beat Italy 37-22 in San Juan.

Meanwhile: England centre Brad Barritt will not take part in the second test against South Africa, in Johannesburg this weekend after needing surgery on an eye injury.

Barritt required surgery after lacerating an eyeball during England's loss to the Springboks in Durban.

For South Africa, scrumhalf Francois Hougaard is also battling an eye injury and fullback Zane Kirschner an ankle injury headed into the second match of the three-test series.
