Spain's Sergio Garcia won the rain-disrupted Wyndham Championship in Greensboro yesterday by two strokes, securing a Ryder Cup berth with his first US PGA Tour title since 2008.
Garcia carded a final round 66 for an 18-under par total of 262.
South Africa's Tim Clark, a local favorite after attending North Carolina State University, knocked in a long birdie putt from the fringe on 18 for a closing 67 and sole possession of second place on 16-under.
Rookie American Bud Cauley was another shot back in third after a final round 68.
