SA opens campaign at inaugural Netball Diamond Challenge

South Africa opened their campaign with a 55-26 victory over Botswana at the inaugural Netball Diamond Challenge in Pretoria on Wednesday night.

It was a successful first match in charge for Port Elizabeth's Zanele Mdondana as the Proteas took a 30-9 lead at half-time.

Earlier, Malawi thrashed Zambia 75-32.

In Thursday's action at the Heartfelt Arena - South Africa play Zambia and Malawi face Botswana.
