South Africa remained unbeaten at the T20 World Cup after they defeated reigning champions England by seven runs in a thrilling second-round Super Eights clash in St. Lucia on Friday.
The Proteas were restricted to a modest 163-6 after losing the toss with a brilliant half-century by Quentin de Kock who finished on 65 off 38 deliveries that included four boundaries and four sixes.
De Kock was later named Player Of The Match.
David Miller was the next best batsman for the Proteas, bludgeoning 43 off 28 balls, Reeza Hendricks made 19 off 25, and Tristan Stubbs contributed 12 not out.
England, having recovered from a top-order collapse, could not manage the 14 runs they needed off the last over before finishing on 156-6.
