Quinton de Kock smashed another century as South Africa beat Australia by 134 runs for their second impressive victory in the ICC Cricket World Cup.
De Kock made 109 off 106 balls, his second ton in two games at the ICC cricket world cup and was named Man of the Match in Lucknow.
The next best batsman was Aiden Markram with 56, while other notable scores came from captain Temba Bavuma who made 35, Heinrich Klaasen chipped in with 29 while Rassie van der Dussen scored 26 off 30 balls.
South Africa put on a total of 311 for 7, leaving it up to the bowlers to the bowlers to defend that total on a slow wicket.
Kagisa Rabada starred with the ball, taking 3 for 33 in 8 overs, while Marco Jansen and spinners Tabraiz Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj took a brace each. Lungi Ngidi bagged one scalp, and bowled two maiden overs.
Australia, in reply struggled to get going, falling to 50 for 3 in 9.5 overs.
Marnus Labuschagne top-scored for Australia with 46 runs off 74 balls as the defending champions limped to 177 all out in 40.5 overs.
Thursday’s victory for South Africa followed their record-breaking demolition of Sri Lanka in the opening game, where several records fell.

The Proteas set a World Cup record for the highest total in the men’s ODI World Cup of 428 for five, the eighth time that South Africa scored over 400 runs between 2006 and 2023.
According to Cricinfo, the Proteas total surpassed the 417 for five by Australia against Afghanistan in 2015, and was also the highest against Sri Lanka.
Man of the Match Aiden Markram also broke a 12-year record for the fastest ton in the ODI World Cup with 100 off 49 balls, breaking the record set by Ireland’s Kevin O’Brien against England in 2011.
South Africa's next assignment is against Netherlands on Tuesday.
