Three wickets apiece from Gerald Coetzee and Simon Harmer helped the Proteas to a comprehensive 284-run win against the West Indies at the Wanderers on Saturday.
South Africa won the Betway Test series two nil, after winning the opening match at Centurion by 87 runs.
Harmer took three for 45 and Coetzee chipped in with three wickets for 37 runs. Kagiso Rabada got a brace for 19 runs and Keshav Maharaj returned figures of two for 4 runs.
CSA described the victory as a “clinical performance” after captain Temba Bavuma, who eventually lost his wicket for 172, was named Player of the Match.
The West Indies' second innings saw a dramatic early collapse when six wickets fell for 13 runs.
The first One Day International takes place on 13 March.
