Powerboat racing enthusiasts can look forward to an adrenaline-filled week when the P750 UIM World Championship powers into Gqeberha from this weekend.
The much-anticipated competition under the flagship of Powerboat Racing South Africa and hosted by the Algoa Bay Inflatable Boat Club, in collaboration with the SA Inflatable Racing Association, the P750 UIM World Championships will take place from 24 February until 2 March.
It kicks off at North End Lake with circuit racing and will be followed by a surf competition at Kings Beach on Sunday.
The climax of the championship will also be held at Kings Beach comprising of a gruelling 120 km long- endurance event.
The event boasts competitors from Holland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Namibia, and South Africa.
The P750 UIM World Championships stand as the pinnacle of inflatable racing, attracting elite competitors from around the world to showcase their talents in a series of thrilling races.
