Four armed robbers were arrested by members of the Port Alfred policing cluster following a high speed chase on Thursday night.
Captain Mali Govender says four suspects entered a shop in the Moyeni patrol area around 7pm and threatened the three men inside.
When they resisted two of them were pistol whipped.
Captain Govender says the robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a Toyota Avanza.
Police were alerted and chased it until the N2 intersection where it was stopped by the members.
Four suspects aged between 26 and 32 were arrested.
Police seized a 7.65 pistol with ammunition, six cellphones, an undisclosed amount of cash and airtime vouchers.
The getaway vehicle was confiscated and the suspects will appear in the Peddie Magistrate's court soon on a charge of armed robbery.
