Rafael Nadal clinched a record seventh French Open in a Monday finish at Roland Garros.
The match went to four sets with Nadal beating World number one Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5.
Nadal improved his Paris record to 52 wins against just one loss and bettered the six French Opens he shared with Bjorn Borg.
For Djokovic, it was the end of his dream of holding all four Grand Slam titles at the same time.
