Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq says Proteas fast bowler Vernon Philander will be the man to watch in their Test series next month.
Philander was included in the Proteas squad for the series after missing out in the second Test against New Zealand with a hamstring injury.
Pakistan are fourth in the ICC Test rankings, and should present a tougher challenge than the Black Caps.
Speaking in Johannesburg yesterday after his team's arrival at the weekend, Misbah said his team would have their work cut-out agaisnt the Proteas but that he had a young team that is really performing well.
Pakistan face South Africa in three Tests, starting with the first match at the Wanderers on February 1, two T20 Internationals and five ODIs.
