Springbok captain Siya Kolisi will play his 40th test as captain when he runs out against Argentina in Buenos Aires on Saturday in the crucial Castle Lager Rugby Championship clash.
Lock, Eben Etzebeth will also establish a new Springbok record for his 18th appearance against the Pumas.
Bok coach Jacques Nienaber kept the same team that thrashed Australia 24-8 in Sydney but made three changes to the bench.
Loose forward Elrigh Louw takes over from Duane Vermeulen, while Faf de Klerk returns as scrumhalf cover in place of Cobus Reinach, and Andre Esterhuizen gets a run in place of Warrick Gelant.
The Boks are currently in second place on the log on nine points, one point behind the All Blacks with ten points.
Australia and Argentina are also on nine points each.
"We were in a fortunate position this week not to have any injuries, which allowed us the luxury of selecting the same starting team that ran out in our last match," said Nienaber.
"We also feel that this team offers us what we need against a physical Argentina outfit. Our first victory in Australia since 2013 gave us a lot of confidence, and I have no doubt that will boost the players' confidence going into this match."
But, Nienaber said it was always tough to play in Argentina, as they are a passionate rugby team, and will also draw a lot of energy from their enthusiastic home crowd.
"We are expecting a huge battle," the Bok coach said.
