South Africa's Kevin Anderson fought back from a set down to advance to the second round of the Australian Open in Melbourne earlier today.
Anderson held his nerve against Italian Paulo Lorenzi, securing a 3-6, 7-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory.
The SA men's number one will face Russian Andrey Kuznetsov in the second round.
Not so lucky for South Africa's Chanelle Scheepers who went crashing out in the ladies singles - 6 1 6 2 against Czech world number 22 Klara Zakopalova.
