Cricket South Africa's (CSA) National Selection Committee has named Warriors and Proteas all-rounder Marco Jansen in its 15-man squad for the up-coming ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Australia.

The 22-year-old fast bowler and hard-hitting lower order batsman replaces the injured Dwaine Pretorius in the South African team.

Pretorius was ruled out due to a fracture sustained to his left thumb during the recent T20 International series against India.

Momentum Multiply Titans paceman Lizaad Williams has been called up to replace Jansen amongst the travelling reserves.

The Proteas open their T20 World Cup campaign against a qualifier in Hobart on Monday, 24 October.

In search of a maiden T20 World Cup title, South Africa find themselves in Group Two alongside two qualifiers, India, England and Pakistan.

The top four teams progress to the knockout stages.
