Stephen Makoka of Gauteng North Athletics Club defended his title in the Nelson Mandela Bay SA Half Marathon on Saturday in a time of 61m 40 seconds.
Makoka won the top prize of R80 000 with an extra R25 000 bonus because he is a South African runner.

Tjoka won in a time of 71 minutes from Helalia Johannes from Namibia and Kenya's Susy Chemamiak.
