EP Kings captain Luke Watson returns from several weeks out with a rib injury for Friday night's Absa Currie Cup first division clash with the Boland Cavaliers in Port Elizabeth.
Watson's return at 8th man sees Darren Nell handed a well-deserved break.
Also back in the starting line-up for the table topping Kings this week are Wayne van Heerden at lock, Mpho Mbiyozo on the side of the scrum and Marcello Sampson on the wing.
Boland was the King's bogey team last year, but having beaten them already in Wellington this season, Watson reckons his team is over that hurdle.
Midway through a long season, management has decided to start with Danie Faasen at scrumhalf and Wesley Dunlop at flyhalf.
Falie Oelschig and George Whitehead will thus play off the bench.
Kick off at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium is at 7pm on Friday.
Meanwhile, Bok 8th man Pierre Spies has been ruled out of the upcoming Rugby Championship with a fractured joint in his finger - with Sharks captain Keegan Daniel set to fill his place.
