The Time Clothing Invitational Knockout Rugby Tournament, featuring four clubs from Port Elizabeth and four clubs from East London, kicks off this weekend.
The tournament was initially staged only in the Border Region, but has been expanded to include Nelson Mandela Bay this year.
The eight teams will compete for the Frank Acton Memorial Floating Trophy, cash prizes and rugby kit.
In Friday's opening matches at Old Selbornians in East London, Buffaloes play Winter Rose at 6pm followed by Old Boys against Cambridge.
In Saturdays' games at Londt Park in Port Elizabeth, Crusaders play Spring Rose at 3pm followed by Parks against Progress at 5pm.
The semi-finals take place on Saturday the 10th of March with the final at Crusaders Rugby Club in Port Elizabeth on Saturday the 17th of March as part of their 125 anniversary celebrations.
