Springbok Manie Libbok is expected to visit his town of birth on Saturday.
Libbok, who was born in Humansdorp in 1997 will be hosted by Graslaagte Primary School in a special public event.
The player, who was part of the Rugby World Cup winning squad this year, was also nominated by World Rugby as the breakthrough player of 2024.
Community members and fans are all invited to give Libbok a warm welcome when he arrives in town at 10 a.m.
The Kouga Municipality says Libbok will be in Humansdorp from 10 am-1 pm before ending his visit at Fountains Mall in Jeffreys Bay from 13.30pm - 3 pm.
The visit will be in collaboration with the South African Police.
