Port Elizabeth paralympic swimmer Kevin Paul won his 200 metre Individual Medley heat at the London Aquatic centre this morning in 2'14'97 to qualify for tonight's final. The final will be swum at 20h52 SA time.
The 21-year-old NMMU student is swimming five events in London and is on track for an early medal after finishing strongly in the breastroke and freestyle legs to win his heat.
Natalie du Toit was two seconds faster than any other qualifier in her 100 metre butterfly heat and will be the overwhelming favourite in the final at 8.30 this evening.
