Port Elizabeth's Kevin Paul was third in his 400 metre freestyle S10 heat at the paralympic games in London this morning in an Africa record 4:19'64.
He qualifies 8th and last fastest for the final which will be swum at a quarter to seven SA time this evening.
Ian Silvermann of the US was the fastest qualifier in 4 minutes 13 - a good 6 seconds faster than Paul.
