JOHANNESBURG, September (ANA) - The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee (DC) on Tuesday found Kaizer Chiefs guilty of fan misbehaviour and ordered that they play three matches behind closed doors.
One of those three matches behind closed doors will be suspended for a period of 24 months provided Chiefs is not found guilty of a similar offence in that time.
The incident which caused Chiefs to be charged with misconduct occurred on April 21 at Moses Mabhida Stadium during the Nedbank Cup match against Free State Stars, where Chiefs supporters invaded the pitch and caused damage to property.
The DC further ruled that the matches which the club play behind closed doors must be scheduled for KwaZulu-Natal. - African News Agency (ANA)
