The Bizhub Highveld Lions progressed to their second consecutive bonus-point win in the Momentum One Day Cup when they beat the Chevrolet Warriors by 6 wickets at Axxess St George on Wednesday.
Winning the toss and batting, the Warriors could only manage 110 all out in 35.4 overs with Hardus Viljoen taking 4 /17 in 7.4 overs.
In reply, the Lions lost 3 wickets with the score on 61 but recovered from that wobble to finish on 113/4 in 26.4 overs.
Its two heavy losses in a row now for the Warriors who lost their opener to the Knights in Kimberley by 91 runs on Sunday.
