34 year-old South African loose forward Danie Rossouw has signed for France Top 14 rugby union club Toulon.
Rossouw has agreed a deal until June 2014 and will join his new club next February after the end of the Japanese championships where he is currently playing with Suntory Sungoliath.
There had been talk of Rossouw being targetted by the EP Kings ahead of their entry into Super Rugby next year.
Meanwhile; Springbok flyhalf Johan Goosen’s season is over after the pivot tore knee ligaments on Saturday during the Rugby Championship loss to the All Blacks at FNB stadium
Goosen will see two more specialists this morning ahead of a decision over surgery now or later.
If he is operated on, then he will be out of action for close on six months, while if it is decided he doesn’t need an operation, the young flyhalf will still be out for six weeks - still ruling him out of the Springbok tour to the UK in November.
