Former Australian fast bowler, Glenn McGrath will be inducted into the International Cricket Council's Hall of Fame during Australia's third test against Sri Lanka in Sydney, his home ground during a first-class career that included 124 tests and three consecutive World Cup titles.
The International Cricket Council says McGrath, who took more test wickets than any other fast bowler, namely 563, will be inducted as the 68th male player in the Hall of Fame on January 4th at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
McGrath retired from international cricket in April 2007 in the West Indies, after helping Australia to its third successive World Cup.
