First win for Tottenham under Boas leadership

Tottenham manager Andre Villas Boas breathed a sigh of relief after his side recorded their first win under his leadership with a 3-1 defeat of Reading on Sunday.

His former club, Chelsea, stayed top after a nil-all draw with QPR on Saturday.

One point adrift are Man united who thumped Wigan 4-nil at Old Trafford.

Champions Man City were held one-all by Stoke and Arsenal thumped Southampton 6-1.

In Sunday's other game, Sunderland held visiting Liverpool one-all.
