Gqeberha snooker ace, Charl Jonck has been selected to represent South Africa at the All Africa Snooker Championships in Morocco next month.
His selection comes on the heels of a historic clean sweep of titles at the 2023 SA Snooker Championships in Johannesburg last week.
Jonck, the defending champion, won the SA Singles Championship, the SA Classic Championship, and the SA Pairs title with Fakhrie Gierdien.
He also made the highest break in all three categories, earning accolades from Snooker and Billiards South Africa, who hailed his "remarkable achievements."
He also has an opportunity to gain a "Pro Ticket" at the African Championships.
Jonck, who plays out of the Diaz Club in Newton Park, will be part of a five-member team that includes players from Gauteng and the Western Cape.
The All Africa Snooker Championships commences on 11 June.
