Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has made nine changes to the team which will face the All Blacks during the Castle Lager Incoming Series at Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Jasper Wiese comes out of the woods to pair with Pieter-Steph du Toit on lock while Ox Nche gets promoted from the bench to start in the front row.
The games promises to be an enthralling encounter and among the excitement is Aphelele Fassi who will link with Cheslin Kolbe and Kurt-Lee Arendse as the back trio.
Eben Etzebeth, Salmaan Moerat, RG Snyman, Lood de Jager, Franco Mostert and Jean Kleyn are among the players who will miss out on the weekend's clash.
Meanwhile, old Dalian Aphelele Fassi will take up the responsibility as the full back.
"It’s also good to have a player of Jasper’s calibre back and we know that he’ll bring a lot of energy on attack and defence after biding his time to return to the field, and we are looking forward to seeing his physicality combined with the rest of the back row," says Erasmus.
"We also have a settled backline, and Aphelele has made a strong statement against the Wallabies in Perth, so we are excited to see what they have to offer against a heavily attack-orientated All Black backline."
Erasmus has also gone for a 6/2 split with Malcolm Marx, Gerhard Steenekamp, Vincent Koch, Marco van Staden, Elrigh Louw, Kwagga Smith, Grant Williams and Handre Pollard who will play off the bench.
