Chippa United have announced the appointment of Vladislav Heric as the club’s Technical Advisor for the rest of the current season.
The decorated Serbian is no stranger to the Eastern Cape outfit, having guided the club to promotion and the elite ranks of SA Football back in 2014.
Heric’s responsibilities will be on working with the technical team led by head coach Siyabulela Gwambi.
“We do welcome Heric back to the club where his experience will play a pivotal role for our team in the last eight DSTV Premiership fixtures,” said Club Chairman Siviwe Mpengesi.
The Chili Boys lost 1-0 to Baroka FC at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday to extend their winless run to 10 matches in the league.
This latest loss left the Nedbank Cup finalists in 15th place in the league and two points from safety.
Heric’s first assignment will be to assist Gwambi in turning Chippa’s fortunes around against high-flying Golden Arrows at the NMB Stadium on Sunday 25 April.
