PORT ELIZABETH, March 7 (ANA) – Chippa United have confirmed that head coach Dan Malesela has been hospitalised after complaining of a pain in his back on Sunday.
According to the club’s website, Malesela has not travelled with the team to East London for the Absa Premiership clash against Bidvest Wits at Sisa Dukashe Stadium on Tuesday.
He is recovering well in hospital in Port Elizabeth, where doctors have run a few tests on him.
“The executive chairman, Siviwe Mpengesi, management, technical staff, players and the club in its entirety would like to wish ‘Dance’ a speedy recovery,” said the website. – African News Agency (ANA)
