Chippa United Executive Chairman, Siviwe Mpengesi has confirmed that former Orlando Pirates midfielder, Menzi Masuku has signed a three-year-contract with the Chilli Boys.
Masuku (23) who was part of the South African U23 Team which participated in the Rio Olympics is expected to start training with the Club next week.
The confirmation also ends the speculation on the future of the Durban-born midfielder.
âI would like to take this opportunity to welcome Menzi Masuku to the Chippa United Family. The player has signed a three-year-deal with us. We watched him playing in Brazil and hope that he is going to bring that spirit to Chippa United.
âHe is a player with a lot of potential and we saw glimpses of what he is capable of on the pitch during his time at Orlando Pirates. He now has the opportunity to working with Dan Malesela, who is good at nurturing talent. I have no doubt that he is going to develop as a player and fulfil his potential.

Chippa United open the new PSL season against Free State Stars on Tuesday 23 August against Free State Stars.
Kick off at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is at 19h30.
