Sunshine Tour local Merrick Bremner leads on 8-under 64 going today's second round of the SA Open at Serengetti outside Johannesburg.
Bremner leads by two from Mathew Carvell and Swede Henrik Stenson who both signed for 66's at the European and Sunshine tour co-sanctioned event.
Char Schwartzel opened with a 4-under 68 and Martin Kaymer with a 2-under 70. Fancourt's Branden Grace shot even par 72.
Looking at the other Eastern Cape professionals in the field - James Kamte shot 69, Titch Moore one-under 71, Ulrich van den Berg 72 and Lyle Rowe a 73.
