Australian Marc Leishman claimed his maiden PGA Tour title with a sizzling final round of eight-under-par 62 in the Travelers Championship in Connecticut.
He finished on a 14-under par total which was a shot better than Masters Champion Bubba Watson and American Charley Hoffman who was left ruing a double-bogey, bogey finish.
South Africa's Tim Clark was another shot back in a tie for fourth place - his best finish after missing virtually the entire 2011 season with an elbow injury.
There was also a maiden title for England's Danny Willet on the European Tour.
He eventually prevailed at the rain-lashed BMW International Open in Cologne, Germany, beating Australia's Marcus Fraser on the fourth hole of a play-off.
