Usain Bolt recovered from a poor start to win the 100 meters in 9.79 seconds at the Diamond League meet in Oslo on Thursday night, finishing 0.06 seconds ahead of Asafa Powell.

Lerone Clarke was next in 10.10, completing a 1-2-3 sweep for Jamaica as Bolt remained undefeated in 2012.

Australian World champion Sally Pearson won the 100 hurdles, finishing in a season-best 12.49 seconds.

Botswana's world 400m champion Amantle Montsho made no mistake in her race, coming home in 49.68sec to send out a warning to world leader Sanya Richards-Ross of the United States.
