The Springboks powered their way to an emphatic 46-13 bonus-point victory over Argentina to win the Rugby Championship title in Salta, Argentina, on Saturday when they ended their 2019 campaign undefeated.
South Africa last won the championship in 2009 in the guise of the Tri-Nations.
The eventual 5-1 try count reflected the Boks' dominance which was founded on their power up front and it was most telling at scrum time.
Flyhalf Handre Pollard touched down twice and added three conversions and five penalties to become the highest points scorer in a game against Los Pumas, while the Boks outscored their opposition five tries to one to cap a superb tournament.
Pollard signed off with a 31-point personal contribution.
