SA Rugby announced on its official Twitter handle on Monday afternoon that the Springboks suspended training after lock Lood de Jager returned a positive Covid Test.
Because of his close contact with several squad members, the entire group has gone into isolation.
SA Rugby added that an update would be issued following a review of further testing data by the Springbok’s Medical Advisory Group.
It is unclear at this stage when they will able to train again, or if the second test against Georgia will go ahead as planned on Friday night.
