The Springbok squad arrived in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday to start with their preparations for the Castle Lager Rugby Championship Test against Argentina on 19th August at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The first training session takes place at the Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
SA Rugby said in a statement that local supporters will also get an opportunity to see the Boks in action when the full squad will take part in a training session on Wednesday afternoon at the Gelvandale Stadium.
SA Rugby said the field session is open to the public at 3pm and as an added bonus, “the entire squad will also participate in a brief signing session immediately after training.”
“The #LoveRugby event is one of several activities planned for Nelson Mandela Bay over the next two weeks in the build-up to the Boks opening game,” Saru said.
On Saturday morning, Springbok coach Allister Coetzee and selected players will be hoisting a gigantic flag at the Donkin Reserve as part of the SA Rugby #2023 RWC bid awareness campaign.
