The Springboks are backing their flyhalf Elton Jantjies following the flight incident a few weeks ago which saw him arrested for his behaviour
The World Cup-winning Springbok pivot is facing charges of malicious damage to property and the contravention of the Aviation Act after being arrested in Johannesburg last month.
The player was allegedly swearing at passengers and crew members and is alleged to have broken a TV screen and light bulb when he was ordered to return to his seat.
Jantjies is currently in the 17-member Springbok camp in Pretoria preparing for the upcoming series against Wales, which starts on the 2nd of July at Loftus.
Springbok coach, Jacques Nienaber, said at training on Wednesday that they will only deal with the matter if Jantjies is found guilty of anything.
Jantjies has already made two court appearances and will be back in the Kempton Park Magistrates Court on the 17th of June.
He is currently out on bail of R1 000.
