Blitzboks on fire at Sydney Sevens

South Africa's Blitzboks oozed pure class, as they defeated the highly-fancied England 33-12 in their final Pool C clash on Saturday, and will now advance to Sunday's quarterfinals at the HSBC World Sevens Series in Sydney.

Although England enjoyed a fair share of possession, they failed to make headway against the solid defence of the South Africans.

Earlier on Saturday, the Blitzboks whitewashed Spain 38-0 to add to their 50-0 win over Papua New Guinea on Friday.

Scorers:

South Africa 33 (12): Tries: Seabelo Senatla (2), Cecil Afrika, Justin Geduld (2). Conversions: Geduld (4)

England 12 (7): Tries: Oliver Lindsay-Hague, Daniel Bibby. Conversion: Bibby

South Africa will now face Kenya in the quarterfinals on Sunday at 2:50am (CAT, GMT+2).
