The Sunrisers Eastern Cape, with their home base at St Georges Park, have picked up young local hero Tristan Stubbs for a cool R9.2 million in the players auction for next January's brand new SA20 cricket league.

Stubbs is hot property at the moment and was recently named in the Proteas squad for the T20 World Cup in Australia in October and November.

The Sunrisers have also snapped up his Warriors and Proteas team mate Marco Jansen for R6.1 million.

Rilee Rossouw was bought by the Pretoria Capitals for R6.9 million and Rassie van der Dussen heads to the Mumbai Indians Cape Town for R3.9 million.

Proteas seamer Lungi Ngidi heads to the Paarl Royals for R3.4 million while Proteas team mate Tabraiz Shamsi is also Royals-bound for R4.3 million.

Wayne Parnell's resurgence has gone full circle with his purchase by the Pretoria Capitals for R5.6 million.
