South Africa’s slim hopes of World Cup participation came crashing down with a 2-0 loss to Senegal in their World Cup qualifier at Peter Mokaba Stadium, in Polokwane, on Friday.
The loss ended Bafana’s mathematical chances of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Senegal, with the win, ensured they qualified for the quadrennial showpiece event.
