South Africa’s Blitzbokke scored an emphatic 29-14 victory over England in the final of the HSBC Sydney Sevens at the Allianz Stadium, Sydney, Australia, on Sunday
The Blitzbokke showed why they are the World Series Sevens pace-setters as they avenged their Pool A defeat at the hands of England on Saturday, in their final pool assignment.
The result means that the Boks have NOW won back-to-back titles after last week’s Wellington conquest. The Blitzbokke have won three of the four tournaments on this season’s circuit so far. Their only failure was falling to England in the Cape Town final last December.
By halftime, the Blitzbokke already had one hand on the title after they ran up a three-try 19-0 lead.
