Afrika back for Blitzbokke

Cecil Afrika has returned to the Springbok Sevens team for the home-leg of the IRB 7's tournament at Nelson Mandela Bay stadium

But, coach Paul Treu, says the playmaker will only play if he's fully fit.

"It's nice to have Cecil back, he is an inspirational player and a great team member so his presence will no doubt give the boys an extra lift,"

Afrika was one of three players called up by Treu after the Blitzbokke faltered in the Dubai tournament.

Bernado Botha and Cheslin Kolbe are the other two additions to the squad after captain Kyle Brown was ruled out of action because of a broken ankle.

Treu will name his final 12-member squad on Thursday afternoon.
