The Fish River Sun Golf Club is the venue today for the qualifying round for this week's Africa Open.
A total of 70 golfers from South Africa and Europe will be battling it out over 18 holes at The Fish for 10 places in the field for the first event of the new european Tour season which gets underway on Thursday at East London Golf Club.
Eastern Cape professionals Greg Petzer, Mark Fensham, Francois van Vuuren and Allister de Kock are all playing at the Fish.
PE Professionals Titch Moore and Lyle Rowe enjoy exempt status and are already in the field along with Knysna's Branden Grace who secured his European Tour card at Q-School in December.
