Afcon officials say they are aware of complaints from the public around the lack of tickets for the opening matches in Port Elizabeth.
A number of soccer fans have contacted AlgoaFM News, saying they were told the games were sold out - yet there were thousands of empty seats at yesterday's double-header at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Afcon's marketing manager for the Metro, Gogo Manqoyi, says they had an urgent debrief last night.
She says they are concerned that the computer system incorrectly reflected that the matches were sold out.
Manqoyi says they're determined to have the problem rectified in time for the next matches in PE on Thursday when Ghana play Mali at 5pm followed by Niger against DRCongo at 8.
