Afcon quarter-finalists decided

Togo took the last quarterfinal place at the Africa Cup of Nations last night  to maintain the flow of outsiders into the last eight at the end of the group phase.

A 1-1 draw with Tunisia in Nelspruit ensured the point they needed to finish second behind the Ivory Coast in Group D and a first time in the quarter-finals after failing in their seven previous attempts.

The Ivorians came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Algeria in a dead rubber in Rustenburg having already secured top place.

So the quarter-finals look this this:
5pm on Saturday, Ghana vs Cape Verde in Port Elizabeth
8.30pm on Saturday, Bafana Bafana vs Mali in Durban.

Then on Sunday 5pm Ivory Coast vs Nigeria in Rustenburg
8.30pm on Sunday, Togo vs Burkina Faso in Nelspruit.
