M-Net will screen the finale of their new reality show, Power Couple SA, this Thursday, 10 December on M-Net Channel 101.
The two couples in the running for a huge cash prize are Emile (35) and Razia Samson (34), Dyllan Smith (36) and Viki van den Barselaar-Smith (34).
The couples were in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, 5 December, and challenged by Algoa FM to a 65-metre abseil, 18 floors down Radisson BLU Hotel. Algoa FM presenter, Charlton Tobias, was surprised to hear that he would also abseil with the couples.
“The couples have travelled a long road to make it to the finals; Razia and Emile have survived three eliminations, proving that they’re a couple not to be underestimated, while Dyllan and Viki have been so successful in their challenges that they’ve accumulated over R1.5 million for themselves throughout the season. Both pairs are incredibly strong contenders”, says Publicity Manager for M-Net, Ingrid Engelbrecht.
Razia and Emile live in Johannesburg with their three daughters and have been together for 15 years, and married for nine. Razia left for Johannesburg after matriculating in East London, and met her husband–to-be a year later while on holiday in Cape Town.
Dyllan and Viki are from Salt Rock in KZN and have been married for six years, and have been together for 18 years. They are high school sweethearts and have two children – a boy and a girl.
“Despite all the challenges the couples have endured, the decision is now with the viewers. Fans can vote for their favourite couple. Voting lines close at 9am on Wednesday, 9 December 2015”, says Engelbrecht.
