Shereez Govender to wake us up on weekdays and a new female voice joins the team.

“I can’t say I ever really figured myself as an early morning person until I recently got up to experience and share with Algoa Country first-hand – and it’s wonderful;” says Algoa FM presenter Shereez Govender.

“So if like me, you sometimes can’t deal, tune into my new show and we’ll get through the morning together.”

In addition to her Saturday 12pm to 3pm show, Shereez will now also be hosting weekdays between 5am and 6am.

Shereez will host her first official early morning show on Woman’s Day, Wednesday 9 August 2017.

Another young woman doing it for herself, is perhaps not new to the microphone, but certainly new to Algoa FM and the role of radio presenter.

Siobhan Momberg will soon be hosting her own show every Sunday evening between 7pm and 10pm.

Whilst she is following in the footsteps of her father, the news will come as a bit of a surprise to the ever popular Daron Mann.

“Siobhan often pops into our building to do voice-over work for our clients,” says Algoa FM Operations Director, Alfie Jay.

“She is a confident young woman who is currently completing her Masters Degree in fashion at NMMU. She’s young, enthusiastic and a great fit for our brand. Training will commence later this week and we’re hoping to get her on air during Women’s month,” says Jay.

Shereez Govender will officially present her first contracted weekday show on Wednesday, 9 August, 2017. Siobhan Momberg will be making her mark on the radio industry every Sunday evening between 7pm and 10pm and will commence her on air career as soon as possible.

Ends.
